Kelley Student Center Laboratory Buildings

Indiana University Kokomo

Kokomo, Indiana

Growing student population on this urban campus generated the need for a new and much larger student center on the Indiana University campus at Kokomo. This $3,500,000 project was constructed with exterior Indiana limestone materials with curtain wall and unistrut space framing. The design of the facility allowed for an accelerated construction schedule thus affording student use much more quickly than typical construction.

The facility was constructed of materials that will stand up to student use. The openness and natural light in this facility creates a welcoming hub for student activity on this commuter campus.

In addition to the large student gathering spaces, the registrar's offices, counseling services, student services and numerous staff offices are housed in the facility. This campus hub for students is a student user-friendly building .
