Science Engineering and Technology Building Phase III

Phase III of the Science Engineering and Technology (SETIII) buildings on the Indiana University - Purdue University campus in downtown Indianapolis, brings full circle IUPUI's effort to centralize all classes and activities to their downtown location.

The IUPUI, SET III project required Verkler to coordinate all of the prime contractors on the jobsite. This project provided for the construction of over 130,000 square fee of laboratory and classroom space with a total construction value exceeding $18,000,000. Phase III of this particular project required special coordination as the building was tied into the existing SET Phase I & II projects.

Verkler’s sensitivy to the phasing and scheduling of the project was important considering the building’s intended use of classroom and lab space for several departments on campus.
