John T. Meyers Technology Center

ISU's John T. Myers Technology Center houses the expansion of the university's School of Technology. It provides school support areas including a lecture/learning lab, breakout rooms, conference rooms and project planning space.

As the name of the facility indicates, the new Technology Center is filled with laboratories that house state-of-the-art equipment and systems. The development of the building’s design has utilized these elements of function to surround students and visitors immediately upon entering the front doors with visual, auditory and manipulative experiences.

Non-departmental spaces such as the lecture/learning lab, computer cluster, general classroom and multimedia lab are designed to accommodate sate-of-the-art data and video interactive systems for students, faculty and industry use.

This new 120,000 sq. ft. facility was completed in 1998 at a construction cost of $18,500,000.
