Jeffersonville High School
Project Overview
As of December, 2009, the overall project is 92% complete and we have expended approximately $35.1 million dollars.
Units A-D, 1st Floor Corridors
In regards to the North side of the 2-story portion of the building, the new ceiling grid and light fixtures have been erected. Twenty (20%) percent of the VCT tile has been laid.
Also, the erection of ceilings on the Southern portion of the building has commenced. Currently the contractor has started at Unit D and is proceeding eastward.
Unit B Science Classrooms
Demolition of the interior classrooms has begun.
Unit D Science Room, Moderate Classrooms and Life Skills Lab
The perimeter classrooms along the Southern and Western elevations of the 2-story portion of the building have been turned-over to the Owner and are being occupied by teachers and students.
Unit D Renovation of Old Bookstore Area
The interior walls have been erected. Walls and overhead rough-ins are complete.
Unit D Computer Rooms
Renovation of both rooms is complete and a pre-punch inspection is being performed prior to the rooms being turned-over to the Owner.
Unit E Toilet Rooms
The renovation of girl’s toilet room is on hold until we receive a new exhaust fan for the area. This is an unforeseen design change.
Unit F Elevator
In the process of completing additional requests prior to requesting the State elevator inspection.
Unit G Rooms G106 thru G108
Erection of ceiling grid and light fixtures are complete. Placement of ceiling tiles will be performed after the overhead inspection. Placement of flooring and the installation of millwork are scheduled for Monday, March 15th.
Unit J Football Lockers
Demolition is scheduled to start today in this area.
Unit J North Toilet Rooms
Pre-punching of the rooms is scheduled to be complete by Thursday of this week in order to facilitate the turn-over to the Owner.
